The Value of 6 College Credits
The SPARKS tuition and fees includes accommodations, daily breakfast and dinner, activities, transportation, field trips, meetings with experts, and more - including six transferable college credits from Seoul National University, Korea's top-ranked postsecondary institution. For any student looking to enroll at a top 25 university in the United States, the cost of the SPARKS program fees more than pays for itself.
At top US universities, the cost of six college credits alone (without dormitories, meals, activities, books, supplies, or other necessities) usually ranges between $10,000 and $13,500 - far exceeding the costs of participating in SPARKS. When you do SPARKS and transfer the credits you earn from Seoul National University to your home institution, you save an average of $1,700 to $5,200 on tuition. You can use the SNU credits and the money you save to pursue a double major, take more advanced Korean language coursework, or reduce your tuition bill.
